Have you been to the NWR website lately? There are some great additions! Under the “Library” category you can now see Newsletters of other clubs! What a great way to learn what clubs in our region are doing. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share. Go ahead, check it out!

Under “Committee Café” there are two new entries. You can now read about the Making a Difference for Women Award and also learn about the new ROAR campaign.

More exciting new tools are under the “NWR Directories” category. You can now find a list of “Club Presidents 2004-2005;” “Club Treasurers 2004-2005;” and “Region Committees 2004-2006.” This last item came in handy just this afternoon. (See sample of listings below.)

We presented our 2004 Women’s Opportunity Award to Gina Goefer at our January 18 meeting. Winners at the club level can be forwarded on to District. President Sandy sent me an email saying she was having trouble finding out who the application should be sent to on the District level. I sent her a return email letting her know about the Region Committee listing. It’s nice to know there is information out there. It’s even better when we know how to utilize it.

The NWR website is continually changing and supplying new features. Ideas for these changes come from member suggestions. Kathy Sechrist, the NWR Webmaster is great at listening to the suggestions and making things happen.
