Or you could say friendship = membership. Each of us was invited to join Soroptimist of Sequim from an invitation from a friend. Who do you know that you would like to offer this opportunity to become a member of Soroptimist of Sequim?
Being a member of Soroptimist has given me an opportunity to meet new woman with diverse backgrounds and network in the community. Being a Soroptimist has also given me the opportunity to meet each of you and work with you to make a difference in our community..
Benefits of Members include Friendship, Leadership, Networking and Mentoring.
When I think of mentoring and recruiting, the first person that pops in my head is Jeanne Martin. She never misses the opportunity to help women become successful and that includes an invitation to join us for breakfast and learn more about us. Jeanne invites women to join Soroptimist not only for the experience, but because together we can achieve so much more for our community. I look around the diversified group of women and know I have become a better person for being a part of our club and want to give our women the same opportunity.
This year I challenge each of you to invite a friend to a meeting and spread the word about Soroptimist of Sequim. We have 7 women who will be joining our group the end of this month and that is only the beginning of the never-ending story.
Success and fun is contagious.. . . spread the feeling …
