A Contest for the Proactive Soroptimist

Just for finding a project/fundraiser you think could be good for our club.

You don’t have to invent (or chair) a project/fundraiser – pick one from the NWR website.
 
It’s a contest with a lot of Pros!
The NWR website provides us with Program Focus Reports. These proclaim projects/fundraisers that have produced proven results.

Here’s all you need to do:
1. Go to the NWR Website: <soroptimistnwr.com>
2. Login to the “Members Only Area”
3. Click on: “The Library”
4. Click on: “Program Focus Report Online”
5. Then Search – by Club, Date of Entry, Date of Project, Program of Service Area.
6. Find a Program Focus Report (PFR) that explains a project or fundraiser that looks interesting for our club to do.
7. Print out the PFR and get it to the Communications/Image Committee.

Every member who submits a copy of a Program Focus Report will have her name entered into a drawing for the gift basket. The drawing will be held at our February Business meeting. That gives you plenty of time to review the Program Focus Reports and find the one you like best.

Logging on to the Members-Only Website
Soroptimist International of the Americas

1. Go to <www.soroptimist.org>
2. Click on “Members Login” at the top of the blue navigation bar to the left of the screen.
3. Enter your surname (all lower case) in the “Username” field. Surnames must be entered exactly as they appear in SIA’s database. Members who are unsure how their surnames are listed in the database should look on their magazine mailing labels or email <sihq@soroptimist.org>
4. Enter the six-digit member identification number in the “Password” field.
Member numbers can be found on magazine mailing labels.
5. Click “Login.”

Soroptimist Northwestern Region

1. Go to <www.soroptimistnwr.com>
2. Click on “Members Only Area” – the bottom button of the blue navigation bar to the left of the screen.
3. Click on NWR Members Intranet Website.
4. Enter your six-digit identification (member) number in the “User name” field.
5. Enter your SurnameFirstname (Initial Caps for each, no spaces) in the “Password” field. Surnames must be entered exactly as they appear in NWR’s database.
6. Click on “Logon”.
7. Members who are unsure of their longon details can fill in their email address and click on the “send me my details” button. The info will be emailed to you.
