WINE, FOOD, FRIENDSHIP, & FUN!

On Wednesday, October 8, Groveland Cottage opened its doors to welcome nine wonderful women to the 2003 Wine Tasting New Membership Invitational. Two superb new wines from the “Working Girl” series were served by Olympic Cellars’ Kathy Charlton.

SI Sequim boasts some of the finest cooks in the area. The food was tasty and decoratively displayed. Mayme’s blackberry punch was a HUGE hit; coffee and tea were also served. The Cutting Garden donated a massive number of their late-season dahlias, which filled the room with fragrance and nature’s beauty.

President Gail gave an overview of Soroptimist, and several other members described their experiences with the Club, giving thumbnail sketches of their committees.
