The Soroptimist International of Sequim newsletter is called Soropti-Scoop. The name was decided upon many years ago. Up until 2002, the Soropti-Scoop was in paper format only. The newsletter was printed and mailed to members, local Soroptimist clubs, District officers, other community people. With the advancement of technology many of the recipients of the Soropti-Scoop now have internet access. SI Sequim has made advancements too. We are now providing the Soropti-Scoop on the Internet.

Every year the president of Soroptimist International of Sequim chooses a theme. She presents the theme at her installation dinner in June and it is often carried throughout the year, showing up at meetings, in emails and our newsletter. President Gail Frick has chosen Investing as the theme for 2003 - 2004. As you read the Soropti-Scoop you will notice some reflections of that theme.
