SEQUIM MEMBERS "PARTY ON" |
Holiday Party 2003 Although
our holiday parties have traditionally been a time for members to
relax, mingle and enjoy, for some reason
this
year there was a sense that things were a bit different; it seemed
to be more intimate. Perhaps it was because the catering was done by
Melinda Lehman, granddaughter of Evelyn Lehman, who is a charter member
of the club. Or perhaps it was because there were so many members in
attendance (more than 30!). The buffet of food was a treat for our
pallets. The wonderful table decorations and goodies were
provided by the Hospitality Committee - Mayme, Janet, Jeanie,
Elaine, Sherry and Debra - and were a treat for our eyes. The
music, provided by Carl Honore and Robyn Swenson was a treat
for our ears. An extra treat was the singing of the Twelve Days of
Christmas (Northwest style). The words (see below) were written years
ago by our beloved Barb Klink.
